The restaurant’s strengths lie in its fresh, handmade Italian dishes, particularly the tortelloni, which consistently receive commendation for their authentic flavors and well-balanced sauces. While most dishes are noted for their quality and reasonable pricing, some feedback points to occasional inconsistencies, such as sauces lacking depth in certain pasta offerings. Overall, Salta! Matahimik St. is recognized as a charming neighborhood spot that delivers comfort food with a genuine Italian touch and a welcoming ambiance.
amazing food, cozy ambience, and warm staff. tucked away in a quiet village, this restaurant has a hidden, homey charm. the pasta tastes fresh and handmade, almost on par with the quality of those in Italy. I especially enjoyed the Tortelloni in Pesto Tomato, which had a refreshing acidic flavor that balanced the richness of the dish. another plus is the free WiFi. I visited on a weekday early afternoon, and it was not crowded at all. the menu is on the pricier side, so portions are not the biggest. I recommend savoring every bite to fully appreciate the sophistication and taste of their pasta.
Small and cozy resto that serves great food and provides good service as well. Dishes were handmade and homemade so you can taste the freshness and quality. Prices were reasonable and justified in my opinion. Thoroughly enjoyed each dish (and sangrias) we ordered and will definitely come back!
My go-to pasta place. I brought an Italian guest from work here—he was adamant about not eating pasta in the Philippines, but he ended up pleasantly surprised. He loved everything, especially the tortelloni and bolognese. The olive oil carrot cake was also perfectly moist.
Place is cozy, with a inviting atmosphere. Family-friendly. And for those with pups, it's pet-friendly. The service is good; waiters are attentive. Food is a double treat—delicious *and* affordable. Italian cuisine mixed with comforting down-home favorites. The chef-proprietor is very amiable and down-to-earth. This is one of my favourite dining haunts when I'm in the Diliman area. Will keep coming back for more!
The best order we had was the Tortelloni. The pasta and the filling was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. The filling was rich and the sauce balanced it out well. The Roast Beef was okay, it was what you would expect from an order like it. The Crabonara was a bit watery so it lacked flavor. I wouldn't really recommend this.
been eating here for over a year now and it's become my favorite pasta place. my favorite is the seafood linguini and the tiramisu cloud is so good it'll have you tweaking. i always recommend this place to family and friends bc it never disappoints.
